They had a tour of the facility to learn how funds were used at the center because both kids have run fundraisers for PCF; Dr. Carroll's project receives funding from PCF. The current project that the Greenberg Goldy family is involved with is an annual Bowling Event.

Pediatric Cancer Foundation Family: Doctors
PCF has been an essential partner with us at Morgan Stanley Children's Hospital for 30 years now. The contributions we have made... together... are measured in whole lives saved, families restored, and the knowledge that made this possible. The challenges are the lives not yet saved, the families not yet restored, and the knowledge remaining unknown. We are all in this together.

Because of our partnership with PCF, the Pediatric Tumor Biology Laboratory at Columbia has achieved a lot of firsts over the last decade, making new models of children’s tumors and then finding new ways to treat them. We would not exist without you... and children’s cancer treatment would be that much further behind. Here’s to the next ten years, and to getting closer to our ultimate goal: the cure.

The support we receive from Pediatric Cancer Foundation plays an integral part in helping us provide the finest medical care to our pediatric oncology patients at Maria Fareri Children’s Hospital at Westchester Medical Center. The efforts of the foundation are critical to the continued success of our programs, from the ambulatory infusion center to the bone marrow transplantation unit. Pediatric Cancer Foundation assistance is central to our maintaining a state-of-the-art children’s cancer program with emphasis on a family centered approach. As our partner, Pediatric Cancer Foundation has had a large impact on the lives of children with cancer from throughout the Hudson Valley and on their families.

Organizations like yours are the driving force behind the ongoing research in childhood cancer as well as growing support services for children with cancer. Over the past several years, Pediatric Cancer Foundation has funded research projects at our Children’s Cancer Research Laboratory (at New York Medical College), the construction of a Chemotherapy Infusion Center at the new Maria Fareri Children’s’ Hospital, and an ongoing project of nutritional and integrative medicine support for our children. We would like to express our thanks and appreciation to all the members of Pediatric Cancer Foundation for their tireless work towards a better future for all children with cancer.

As we enter our ninth consecutive year of support from Pediatric Cancer Foundation at The Steven and Alexandra Cohen Children's Medical Center of New York I must reflect on our accomplishments. We have garnered major grants from NIH and CDC, all based upon work initially supported by PCF. But most importantly deaths from childhood cancer continue to decrease as researchers at all of the institutions supported by PCF make major strides in our efforts to prevent or cure all of childhood cancer. I look forward to continued support from PCF until we can all declare the battle won!

Pediatric Cancer Foundation understands that we need to focus on children whose diseases have failed to respond to standard treatments, and offer them access to early clinical trials of the newest and most promising anti-cancer drugs. With their ongoing support, we have been able to create the PCF Developmental Therapeutics Program, which unites our tradition of high-quality child-oriented care with top rated clinical and scientific investigation, and the simple goal of finding innovative cancer therapies for children.
